Message from the President

March is always an exciting time for our industry as Florida’s RV Show season continues at full speed. We’ve already had three successful regional shows this year in Fort Myers, Jacksonville, and West Palm Beach. Thank you to the dealers, suppliers, volunteers, and staff who helped make each event a success. These shows continue to demonstrate the strength of Florida’s RV market and the dedication of our members.

We now look ahead to our upcoming regional events in Ocala and Orlando. These shows are great opportunities to connect with consumers as they plan their travel season, and we encourage members to stay engaged and involved.

Planning is also underway for our Summer RV Show in Tampa, which will be here before we know it. It’s another important event on our calendar and a strong way to keep momentum going as we move into the warmer months.

Please be sure to save the dates for our three-day FRVTA Member Convention, taking place September 10–12 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. The convention is a valuable opportunity to bring all segments of our association together for education, networking, and fellowship. More details will be shared soon.

Education remains a priority, and we have a two-day Dometic training session scheduled in March in Ocala and an RVTI Level 1 Training in April in Tampa. I encourage you to send your technicians and team members whenever possible. Investing in training strengthens your business and our industry as a whole.

Finally, I want to extend a warm welcome to all of our new members who have joined FRVTA this year. We’re glad to have you as part of our association and look forward to working together.

Thank you for your continued involvement and support. I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming shows and events.

Warm regards,
Sean Thompson
President, FRVTA Board of Directors
