The FRVTA will hold a one-week training course, August 4-8, for RVTI Level 1 Training and Certification. The weeklong class will be held at Keystone Heights RV Resort. Attendees can reserve full-hookup campsites or camping Wagons. There will also be a special room at the Holiday Inn Express.

FRVTA Training Coordinator Steve Roddy, a Master Technician and RVTI Certified Trainer, will hold classes for 4 days and then attendees will test on Friday and leave the session as a Certified RVTI Level 1 Technician.

The entire class will be offered to FRVTA Members at NO COST (a $375 value)! This is part of the new Education and Scholarship program designed to allow FRVTA members to get certification FOR FREE!

In Level 1 training, current and future RV techs will learn about and demonstrate knowledge of Propane, Electrical, Plumbing, Appliances, Body, Generator and Chassis systems. A student who successfully completes the training will have a proven skill set to prepare an RV for customer delivery by verifying the operation of all components.

  • Includes: 7 Courses, 11 Modules, 39 Learning Outcomes, 32 Labs and Activities
  • Length of time to complete the program: 1 week for in-person or an average of 32 hours to complete the self-paced online program (subscription runs for a full year)
