It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jamie Jorgensen, FRVTA Region 7 President, who left us unexpectedly last Saturday evening.
Jamie was more than a colleague—he was a true friend, a leader, and a bright presence in our industry. His commitment to Region 7 and the FRVTA was unwavering, and he always brought humor, wisdom, and heart to everything he did. Jamie had just begun his first treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center two days before his sudden passing, a reminder of how quickly life can change.
His wife Kim shared that a Celebration of Life will be held at their home on Saturday, July 12th, from 3 to 5 p.m.—a time to share stories, laughter, and a few well-earned tears. For those who wish to attend or send a note of sympathy, please contact the state office for details.
