September is here, and we have a lot going on at FRVTA. Our regional shows will be starting back up soon, the State Convention is right around the corner, and this week is a big one as we hold the Draw for the 2027 Florida RV SuperShow.
The SuperShow Draw is always exciting because it’s when you really start to see the next show come together. Manufacturers are selecting their space, the layout starts taking shape, and the staff can begin putting all the pieces in place for January. There’s a tremendous amount of work that happens between now and opening day, and I know our team is already working hard to make the 2027 SuperShow another great one.
Before we get to January, I hope to see everyone at our 2026 FRVTA State Convention, September 10–13 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs. The convention is one of my favorite FRVTA events because we actually have time to sit down, talk, learn from each other, and spend time with people from all different parts of our industry. Bring your team. There’s something to take away whether you work in sales, service, parts, accounting, management, campgrounds, manufacturing, or as an industry supplier. It’s also just a great chance to catch up with people you may not see very often.
Our regional RV shows will also be starting back up soon, which means another busy show season is just around the corner. The staff and our regional members have been working behind the scenes getting everything ready, and I’m looking forward to getting back out to the shows and seeing everyone.
On a personal note, I recently spent the weekend camping at the Ocala Shrine Rodeo. Many of you know the Ocala Shrine Club because they run the concessions at our Ocala RV Show every year. It was a fun weekend and a great opportunity to support the Shriners and the work they do for children and families.
We have a busy few months ahead, but that’s a good thing. I’m looking forward to a great fall show season, watching the 2027 SuperShow come together, and most importantly, seeing many of you at the convention in Bonita Springs.
