As summer gets underway, there’s plenty happening around FRVTA. Some of our staff recently traveled to Elkhart to meet with manufacturers and continue preparations for the 2026 Florida RV SuperShow. With the SuperShow draw coming up in August, planning is already well underway to make next year’s event another great success.

We also have our July Board meeting coming up, where we’ll continue working on initiatives and programs that support our members and the RV industry throughout Florida.

Education remains a priority, and we’re excited to offer upcoming Lippert training sessions in Fort Myers and Kissimmee. Thanks to FRVTA sponsorship, registration fees for FRVTA members have been waived, making these valuable training opportunities even more accessible. I encourage you to take advantage of them and invest in your teams.

June also gives us an opportunity to recognize a couple of special occasions. On June 14, we celebrate Flag Day and the freedoms and opportunities our country provides. We also want to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures in our FRVTA family.

Looking ahead, the Shriners Imperial Session will be taking place in Tampa this summer, including a parade through historic Ybor City. I’ll have the honor of participating in the parade with MAHI Temple from Miami, and I’m looking forward to helping represent an organization that does so much good for children and families.

Thank you for your continued support of FRVTA. I hope you have a wonderful summer, and I look forward to seeing many of you at upcoming training events, meetings, and shows.

Warm regards,

Sean Thompson
President, FRVTA Board of Directors
