Susan from FRVTA R2 presents donation check to Hibiscus Children’s Center

FRVTA Region 2 proudly continued its tradition of giving back by donating $2,500 to the Hibiscus Children’s Center, an organization dedicated to providing safety, stability, and support to some of Florida’s most vulnerable youth. The donation was presented by Susan from Region 2 and will directly support the MC Santa’s Elves Activity Fund—an initiative that brings joy and meaningful experiences to children throughout the year.

Hibiscus Children’s Center operates the Hibiscus Tilton Family Shelter in Jensen Beach and Hibiscus Village in Vero Beach, offering a safe haven for children removed from their homes due to abuse, abandonment, or neglect. Since opening, the organization has provided more than 450,000 nights of safety to children and teens in crisis, helping them heal, grow, and look toward a brighter future.

This year’s Region 2 donation supports the MC Santa’s Elves Activity Fund, which ensures kids enjoy fun, enriching outings on weekends, school breaks, and holidays. Every contribution helps create moments of happiness that these children may not otherwise experience—whether it’s an ice cream outing, a movie day, a trip to Lion Country Safari, or even a visit to SeaWorld.

The Activity Fund makes it easy to see the impact of every gift:
$100 = Ice Cream Outing for 20
$300 = Bowling for 10
$400 = Movie Outing for 10
$500 = Lion Country Safari & Lunch for 5
$800 = SeaWorld for 10
$1,000 = Sailfish Splash for 15
$24,000 = A Full Year of Fun

FRVTA Region 2 is honored to support the mission of Hibiscus Children’s Center and help bring joy, comfort, and hope to children who need it most.
