Dear FRVTA Members,
As we welcome the month of May, I want to thank each of you—our RV dealers, campgrounds, suppliers, and industry partners—for your continued support and involvement in the Florida RV Trade Association. It’s your engagement that keeps our industry strong and growing year after year.
We have several important updates and opportunities this month that I encourage all members to take advantage of.
Training Opportunities for Technicians
Continuous education is essential to keeping our service teams sharp and our customers satisfied. This spring and summer, we have several excellent training sessions available. The FRVTA will be hostingLippert training sessions in Tampa and Jacksonville and LP training in Tampa and Fort Myers with Steve Roddy. Dates and registration information are available in our newsletter.
These hands-on sessions are a great way for technicians to stay current with safety protocols and new technologies. Don’t miss out—spots fill up fast, so be sure to register early.
FRVTA Scholarship Applications – Deadline Approaching
A quick reminder that FRVTA scholarship applications are due soon. This program supports the educational goals of our members and their families. If you or someone in your organization has a student preparing for college or trade school, please encourage them to apply. Details and application forms are available on our website and there are links in the newsletter.
Save the Date – 2025 FRVTA State Convention
We’re already gearing up for this year’s FRVTA State Convention, taking place in September. It’s a valuable opportunity to network, share insights, and celebrate our accomplishments as an industry. More details will be released soon, but be sure to mark your calendars—you won’t want to miss it.
Tampa Summer RV Show – June 19-22, 2025
Looking ahead, don’t forget the Tampa Summer RV Show at the Florida State Fairgrounds. This regional show is a great way to connect with customers before the busy travel season and showcase new inventory. If you’re interested in participating as a dealer or vendor, please reach out to the State Office.
As always, the FRVTA is here to support you. Whether through training, advocacy, or events, we remain committed to helping you grow and succeed in this dynamic industry. If there’s ever anything we can do to better serve you, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Wishing you a productive and prosperous May!
Warm regards,
Sean Thompson
